The Cup and the Quest

Chapter 1, The Cup, tells of TP's psychic childhood, his far memory of Glastonbury, and how such intangibles clashed with his need to be a responsible businessman. Indeed, it was at a sober business meeting that he had his crucial vision of an object shining in Bride's Well. The chapter goes on to describe his Triad of Maidens, their recovery of the Glastonbury Cup, the Oratory set aside for it, and what the Daily Express had to say about the matter.

Chapter 2, The Meeting, mentions TP’s search for validation of the Cup, especially some spooky psychometry from a ‘distressed’ psychic lady. Mark Twain’s comments on the Cup are included, followed by a substantial account of the Deans Yard Meeting where TP, and two of his ‘Maidens’, told the story of the Cup to assembled dignitaries. The bootleg newspaper report which followed brought a certain Leslie Moore into the frame, who had some remarkable tales to tell of prediction and vision.

Chapter 3, The Quest, relates TP’s adventures in Constantinople while the ‘Red Sultan’ was in power and the ‘Young Turks’ revolution was brewing. Hiding in the Seraglio Gardens TP had a sense of wonderful documents buried in catacombs beneath his feet. However, after being arrested he could accomplish little more despite concerns over Vatican agents and the Kaiser’s intentions. Returning home, he found enthusiastic clairvoyantes waiting for him and a hostile business partner.
